Hey everyone, my name is Sunni and I have a 99 dodge neon....I'm pretty new to the whole cars and engines thing and don't know a whole lot about 'em, however, I'm willing to learn and want to learn. I also have a few questions....for one, what are some good sites for neons?....also, I've been curious as to why there is a dodge neon and a plymouth neon? I read the post about the differences, but I'm still wondering why there are two different makers??? I'd greatly appreciate some feedback....Thanx!

Hi, well if you read the thread about dodge / plymouth you know there is no difference except the badging on the cars. there really is not two different makers, they are most likely both made at the same plant, my dad had a 79 ford thunderbird that came from the factory with a mercury cougar steering wheel. there was no difference between the thunderbird and the cougars except the badging too. And to try to answer the question about "I'm still wondering why there are two different makers??? " there arent two makers but some people lke dodges and some like plymouths, BUT there are no differences. Another site for neons is neons.org

I think that they are made in the same 2 factorys. There is no different from one to the other except maybe interior color or paint.
