Default sensor problem
Whats the sensor on the back of the motor under the exhaust? facing the firewall? 96 plymouth sohc

The green sensor is for oil pressure.

The black sensor above the oil filter is the crank position sensor.

if that sensor was leaking would it still preform fine?

The sensor will perform fine, But your motor will not if it leaks bad enough.

Oil could be getting in the sensor and causing issues. Stop the leak and go from there.
