Plenty worth it to go from the 3.55 tranny to the 3.94 tranny if you are staying n/a and looking for quicker acceleration.

The 3.94 final drive is on every DOHC MTX and on all ACR's. DOHC's that were not R/T's or ACR's got a taller 5th gear (0.72 vs. 0.84 or something like that) for better gas mileage. I got mine from an Expresso, so it has the taller 5th gear. Still get 32-34 in town, 36-38 with freeway driving. Best was a few months back on a trip to California - 43 mpg.

Edit: direct swap, by the way. Old one out, new one in. No clutch swap required, but it might be a good idea if you're coming due.

Best of luck!
