hey all i have a 1998 r/t stock but a short throw shifter and that darn air box thing taken off...any ways i am loooking into some horsepower for cheap i was looking into intake manafolds. should i get mine ported and polished or should i just buy one or get a cuztom one.....help please

 

Porting and polishing will get close to the same numbers as an aftermarket intake. That would be your cheapest route. No point going to an aftermarket until your pushing air into it.

 

If those are the only mods you have, the next one really should be a better exhuast.
