I have a 95 base model mxt 2.0 sohc. Some one had told me that the dohc pcm would help me some. also was told was told that a jeep 4.0L throttle body would fit too. Kinda sounds like a load of b/s to me but if its true let me kno. If any one knows of some good mods on the cheaper side plz let me kno. Thanks.

 

If you have a hoter cam, cai, tb and headers you will come better out with the DOCH pcm. It's difrent opinions about doch on soch pcm's.
If you have one, try it.

I have a Cai setup and the atx tb mod. When you say hotter cam are you talking about the hotter cam that came in the early model sohc's ? And also any ideas on a header.

 

I would think he was referring to a Crane 12 or higher. The Pacesetter header has the best proven HP gains for the SOHC.
