First of all, don't use an impact wrench on the lug nuts. They are supposed to be tightened to 90 ft-lbs (or 95 for us 4-luggers). Not bearing friendly either. Just because Wal-Mart does it doesn't make it OK.

Alloy wheels on that R/T? Are the lug nuts actually making contact with the wheel, or have they been overtightened so many times that they have dug through that aluminum and are now up against the rotor?

The studs and lug nuts are cheap enough and easy enough to replace - that would be my next bet. Parts stores should have the studs for under $3 each, and lug nuts are $5 a set. Studs just pop out the back. Use a c-clamp and a socket, not a hammer... Or a shop can press them out and in for $20 or so.

Best of luck!

I would have to agree with him ^^^. It's easy enough and cheap enough to replace it, that's what I'd do. You might've not put the lug on straight one time and stripped the end of the stud cauing it not to stay tightened.

sure they aren't standard thread lugs on metric threads or vice versa...
do the bolt holes line up proper, have the holes ovaled in the wheels...
lugs should never break loose no matter what you do driving... never trust the parts guy no matter how much he argues with ya... if it dont fit right he's wrong always....

if its the R/t rims ive had pobs w/ mine ...my 4 way was to big to actually tighten down properly the 19 mm. Anyhow it wasnt hitting all the way to the wall. SO....i just used the dealer kit w/ mine....ps never use impact wrench to torque your lugnuts...
