95 Neon Knock/tick noise?
Hey everyone, im new to the forums, and new to dodge. I purchased a 95 neon SOHC automatic a few months back and after replacing the bank1 02 sensor I appear to have a knocking noise coming from somewhere in the engine bay.
It only appears when the car is in gear. I assume its coming from the transmission, as it started slightly slipping out of first gear at low speeds when the knocking started. With the engine running in park, or below about 1500 rpm, the sound all but disappears. Im really getting tired of dumping money into the car trying to figure this out.
Anyone have any ideas what it could be? any and all help is appreciated.
