I joined the forum in need of help. Car shifts fine, but it doesn't go into overdrive unless i play with the pedal. After about 30 seconds of playing with it, it finally shifts harshly. Thought it was the kickdown cable.... nope, it's fine. Changed fluid and filter... same thing. Now I'm in the middle of dropping the valave body to clean it out and check for anything out of the ordinary. Everything looks fine. Here is my problem.... I thought it was a good idea to let all the check ***** fall out into the drain pan. Lol.... oops. Well I don't have a service manual, so i guess I'm asking if anyone has a link to a picture of where the check ***** go. Thanks. Also if anyone has any idea why i don't really have ovedrive, let me know. Thanks again.

 

Huh? Unless you posted in the wrong forum your car does not have an overdrive.
