Default 2001 Engine in a 1998 Neon
Will the 2nd Gen engine fit in my 1st gen? I believe both are 2.0 SOHC

Yea same thing besides no EGR on the head from what i remember. You will need your sensors, manifold, and mounts off the old motor.
