What is the best solution, if the intake temp is the same?
I have a lth. Should my intake tubing allso be a long tube intake?
To day, my tubing stops in front of the battery.
My intake temp is about 55 F when cruising at highway in 65 mph and the temp outside is 40 F.

Record Breaker
I think all motor setups should have short ram intakes. I used the 2nd indy and ran the filter right on the TB because there was no 90 degree TB on it since it was 2nd gen. Worked good.
Short ram do too high rpm engine, if I understand correctly.
I tested the air intake temp with cold engine vs warm engine.
Temp outside whas 5c /intake 5c.
When the engine reach 50c, the intake temp whas still 5c.
On highway after 10 min and working temp, it reach 12 c. That is not bad.
