do you need the dohc for the srt turbo? also is there a walkthrough on this set up or parts list? if so link pls! but i would like to do a cheap turbo on 7psi for my dd. if i can ebay turbo it cheaper then thats the route ill go.

 

The srt-4 turbo manifold only bolts to the dohc head. I remember using an older turbo dodge sohc manifold on my sohc neon, not sure if it was modified or not. I actually have a sohc turbo dodge manifold but no head to see if the pattern is the same. that manifold you have, what turbo would it fit?

 

Chrysler style T3's. They make 2 garretts and 1 mitsu that bolt to it. Also the Garrett VNT which is instant spool up. I have like 10 of these turbos laying around. I also have some srt-4 turbos. You could always use the sohc to dohc adapter plate. But like I said I am not sure if it would work with the older sohc manifold. If you are in the US and pay shipping I would send you the manifold and you could give it a shot. Or send me a diagram with measurements of the bolt pattern and I could check it.

 

The srt4 turbo will bolt to a sohc head but you need to have a mattdog adapter plate. They are not made anymore, so you have to troll neon forums to look for one.
