Deciding to put new pistons in my DOHC neon and cant decide if i want to go 10.5:1 comp or if 11:1 is possible.

Also what is the best piston ring to go with if your on a budget?

Or would it be better and cheaper to put in a good set of cams and gears?

Just a cr buildt dont make it a dragster.
But if you want higher cr for less $, mill the head.
Then some good crower cams from Modern along with)
Is it a mtx?

 

or do a srt turbo on it. make easy power that way

Okay so i decided no to do pistons and go with cams. I know everyone recomends crane cams so i want to know what grind i should go with, they have like 12 through 18 or something like that. Also what do you guys think of compcams for the neon or crower?

 

Crane do not have cams for dohc.
Crower has.

Do not over dimention your cam choise, cause of your stock cr. Big cams like higher cr.
Mtx is manual gear box.
