well Hemi777 says that you can run nos on a stock hemi he has went threw 38 bottles without a prob. He also says you stay under 125 shot you are fine. but you might ask him he knows all the details.

You can run a 50-75 shot on a healthy neon motor without a problem. If the car has 150,000 miles on it, you may only get a few bottles out of the motor. It is going to cause more wear and tear on the motor, even if it was built and done for NOS.

All you have is a bottle? Or do you have one of their kits. Personally, I'm not a big fan of NOS's kits, I like the setups Nitrous Express has a lot better... particularly direct port. NOS has done a lot for nitrous, but they really don't cater to smaller engines.

The most the stock block can handle is 225-235 ft-lbs torque before the rods start bending and pistons start falling apart. If you're going the cheap route and doing a straight shot, then a 75 shot is going to be about it, if you're lucky. If you have the ability to do some fuel tuning and spark retard, then you might get a 100 shot in there safely. If you also use a progressive controller then maybe a 125 or 150 shot at higher RPM's. I'm willing to bet with forged pistons and standalone fuel management, a progressive 250 shot won't be a problem.

Best of luck!
