Need Help!
Two days ago my car suddenly started to stall and run very rough at idle. When i'm driving and the rpms are higher that 1200, the car runs fine. Coming up to a stop sign though the rpms drop to 500 and it run extremely rough, and sometimes stall out. It will eventually recover to about 1000 rpms by itself but still runs poorly. Last spring I had the same thing happen. I was on my way back home from a trip and after 50 miles on the highway it somehow fixed itself so I never had the chance to figure out what it was. I have had a suggestion of the Idle Air Control. Any other ideas?

 

Just a thought but how old are the spark plug wires and spark plugs? Bad plug wires could cause the symptoms you describe.
