Hey everyone my names Kevin, I'm currently in my second year of Dirt racing. I'm running an eclipse now but just picked up a 1998 neon r/t. I just finished gutting it today. I was wondering if anyone else raced on the dirt here and was looking for some help on what transmission to use. I have the 3.94 r/t tranny in the car now but I have heard that the 3.55 tranny from the sohc cars is the one to use for the track. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

 

on a half mile track run 3.94 in 3rd with a 185/60r14 tire on 3/8 - 1/4 mile run 3.55 in 2nd with 195/65r15 tires
