I actually got my first car a few months ago but I noticed the air conditioning system wasn't functioning. Somebody told me to recharge it so I went out and bought a recharge kit. After the pressure gauge went well into 120 psi after opening the valve i knew something was wrong. I Googled as much as I could and even bought a Haynes manual which still hasn't told me much.

I jumped the low side switch to get the compressor to start pumping the refrigerant, no go. I checked the relays and they were good. However after noticing the 20A fuse for the Compressor was blown I put another one in and jumped the low pressure switch again... Just to blow another fuse. I recall reading somewhere that it COULD be an internal short inside the compressor, I know it's not external because i tested the wiring.

Just looking for someone to give me an idea of what to do before I go get another compressor from Pick n Pull.
