I'm planning on replacing all 4 speaker wires with a larger wire, probably 12-14 Ga. and i was wondering where the speaker wires run in between the Headunit and the Speakers,

Well the fronts will probably run right throw the rubber boot by the door hinges, the rears prolly along the doors you might have to rip the carpet up a lil bit. Whats the hole point in doing this???

 

After having atleast 5 radios in the car, and different speakers before i had it, the wires are short, and worn out, the insulation on speaker wires behind the headunit is melted and hard, so the wire inside it can't be in good shape. just want to make it right, instead of dealing with bad wires, and theres a break somewhere in the RR speaker wire

 

actually i replaced all the wiering in mine and it supprisingly made a differnce it was louder and clearer the think is i chouldnt find 1 of teh wiers from the old speakers cuz 1 wasnt conected cuz teh guy who had it be4 me wasnt 2 bright lol so i took out teh wiers i chould find and ran all new wiers in new spots right where i wanted them i ran teh 6x9s under teh carpet and the doors under the dash and right thru teh door boot to teh speakers but make sure u mount them directly 2 teh door with practicly no slack obviously cuz if u dont when u roll down ur window ur wier will coem out and ull have 2 take everything apart again ... not fun lol
