I'm buying a 97 dodge neon that came factory with the metal fuel tank with the external fuel filter, the person selling was going to do the repair but bought the plastic tank and pump, the tank fits but the new pump has only one output where the original had 2 going into the fuel filter. Is there a way I can make this work. Do I somehow bypass the external fuel filter because the "updated" pump has a internal filter. Any help would be much appreciated and if If there is a way I will post pictures for anyone else having the same issue.
