The gas tank straps rusted away on my 1999 Dodge Neon RT, so bad that the tank fell onto the garage floor and pieces of the straps are missing. I got new straps and find that one is longer than the other. Can anyone tell me which side takes the long strap and which the short? If anyone can help me avoid experimenting while working on my back in cramped quarters I'll truly appreciate it.
