Default Car starts when cold and runs for a bit and dies.

Car has set for 6 years. Drove it 5 miles and starter to overheat. Shut it off and wouldnt start back. Figured fuel pump as it wasnt cycling. Replaced fuel pump and heater core and those issues are fixed

NOW:
Car starts and runs fine if cold. Have replaced coil pack and getting spark on all. Just replace heater core and fuel pump. Will run for 15 to 20 minutes then cut itself off. I have pressed on throttle and no issues. Already have 400 in it.

Mechanic said when he pulled it in catalytic converter was red hot. Will be removing and putting straight pipe on to save cost.

When it dies and try to restart it cranks but wont turn over unless you let it sit a bit. 5 minutes or so and it starts but dies immediately. 30 minutes or more it will run for 20 minutes or so.

Any idea as to what causes this stalling?

He believes it is crankshaft position sensor.
