Repairs for high fuel pressure (check engine light)
i'm getting ready to buy a '97 neon for a great price, but it has a check engine light. i went to autozone, and they told me it has to do with the fuel pressure being too high, possibly because of a clog. that's all i know and i was just curious if anyone had dealt with that problem before. it has about 120,000 miles, so maybe that's normal. please post if you're familiar with this kind of problem.

thanks for the replies... so if it's the fuel pressure regulator, i'm just wondering if it's worth the risk on a 1997 with 120,000 miles. she's just so beautiful, and runs well. i've taken apart the engine to replace the head gasket, but i've never done this. seems like it would be a little easier than the head gasket...
