I am looking at several different mufflers for my 1998 sohc. I found one at modern performance, by Vibrant. What do you think? Is this a good choice?

I have a 2000 dodge neon what kind of exhaust should I buy?

if you can afford it go for the full catback system. Some of them show just the muffler but will include everything from the headers back to the muffler. Hence the term "catback", everything from the catalytic converter backwards. As for brand names Vibrant, Borla and Modern Performance seem to be the most often recommended brands. Each have their benefit and appeal. Borla tends to be the mellower tone while Modern Performance leans a little towards the throatier growl. It's up to you which you end up choosing, either way you go, the exhaust system will offer your car better breathing room and overall better performance.

 

The borla is the best. Vibrant and pacesetter are about the same.
