k i have a 95 neon and i drove it to my work. everything was just fine. when i tried to leave work i tried to start it and nothing happened. whenever i turned the key the brake light came on and stayed on as long as i had the key turned. then the check engine light started to blink. any ideas? it was just fine why would it suddenly do this

 

Alternator or battery. If you got the car home its not the battery but the alternator, now if its still at your work try jumping it to see what happens. The only thing that I can think of is that your alternator went bad, bad battery, or something with your starter.

 

pull the code it will usually tell you whats wrong.....
