Hello there. Hope someone has a few ideas for me. 98' Neon with 103K. Auto. I just had the oil changed yesterday. After the oil change I drove the car around about 15 miles then parked it at home. There was no oil under the car this morning. I got in the car and drove it to church. After church I noticed a large puddle of oil under the left side of the engine. I suspected a loose filter since I had just had the oil changed, but that is not the case. Both the filter and plug are tight. With the car running I can look under it and watch oil drip - not just drip but really come out. I wiped away all of the excess oil under the engine and then tried to watch and see where the leak was at. It looks like it is coming from about 1"-2" from the left of the filter towards the left wheel. Even with the motor off oil will flow out if I try and fill it. I have never seen a leak this bad on any car I have owned. It it not coming from the seal between the tranny and engine. If anyone has ideas on this please let me know.

Any chance that the old o-ring for the oil filter was left behind, and now the new one can not set correctly because u have 2- o-rings trying to fit into the same location. Just a thought,
