just bought a 98 neon 4 dr hiline trying to get some info on potential flaws did some reading on it so far she runs great

There really are no major problems with the neon. There is a cold idle knock and the headgaskets had a problem, but the headgasket was fixed by 98. The tail lights do leak on some cars.
