i want to turbo my car, what all mods should i have done before i do it? and would i be safe turboing a car with 150xxx miles on it?

 

so let me get this straight... you want to swap a motor... but don't want to and instead just want a turbo. if I were you. I would get a new motor. either from a junkyard, or the dealership. its up to you. The dealership sells them longblocked which is nice cause everything on it is new. THEN THEN.... i would start modding it. But i wouldn't add a turbo to a car that is loaded with miles. I just swapped an engine in my 95. It was a 97, and it had 44,000 on it. as opposed to 118,000 on my 95. Now i plan to do stuff to it!

 

I would not turbo a motor with that many miles on it. You are better off putting your money into either a newer motor, or having the one you have done at a machine shop.
