Default Throttle body

I got a 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse 4g63 5 speed manual Non-Turbo. I was wondern if i could get a 60mm dodge neon throttle body and put it on my car?? I dont know much abotu the neon motors.

the 4g63 is a 2.0 DOHC anyone know throttle body that would perform for it.. wut does the 2.0 DOHC neon have?

I don't think it will fit. Everything is different other than the block between the 2 motors. The neons have either a 48mm-MTX or 52mm-ATX TB

yeah I wanted the 52mm because I was lookin on ebay and they hada 58mm or 60 mm throttle body and it said performance can put on SOHC neon or eclipse ....

the 4g63 is a completely different motor, manufactured and designed completely by DSM. The 4-cylinder non-turbo Eclipses from the 95-99 timeframe had the 420A, which used the same Dodge-designed/manufactured block that was used in the Neons. But the DSM-designed head is different (reversed flow) and the TB sits on the DSM-designed intake mani. The odds of a neon TB fitting on a 420A design is pretty slim. The odds of it bolting onto your engine is even less, somewhere around zip-point-squat.

With enough patience, grinding, and machine shop work, you can make anything fit though.
