I have a 98 neon which has a Power moon roof. I'm not sure if its factory or not. Well what I'm looking for is the cables that work off the motor they are stripped out. does anyone knopw where i might find them. Please let me know.

are you sure the cables are stripped out? im just asking because my sunroof didnt work when i got my car. if you push either of the buttons it would move about 1/2 an inch then you would just hear a grinding sound and it would move anymore. i asked a guy down the street and he said that 1998 neons are notorious for the sunroofs not working for long. the gear inside the motor is plastic and strips out, so you need to get a new motor. i priced one at the dealership and they wanted 300 sumthin foor one. so i went to a junk yard and got one for 20 bucks from a 2000 neon, then just changed the clips and now it works, and looks bad *** with it open, i had the car for 2 years without a working sunroof and just got it goin 3 weeks ago.
