Default APEXI s-afc II

Does anyone have any experiance with these. I am looking to add a WB o2 sensor to my turbo kit and want to know if the apexi will control my fuel management. I need the bare minimum piggy back unit to keep things as painless as possible.

Greddy is crap, dont waste the money, your best fuel delivery system for a turboed car is the stock PCM or Megasquirt.

Most guys use a rising rate fuel pressure regulator setup. That includes the fuel return line, better pump, and bigger injectors on the stock PCM. More and more are going to a Megasquirt setup (except for 2003-up...).

The Apexi S-AFC adds fuel based on RPM. It doesn't care how much air is actually getting into the engine. Not a good choice for forced induction fuel control. I have seen a modification (Eclipse) where a guy used the signal from a boost pressure gauge to trick the S-AFC, or something along those lines... don't remember enough from it to do you any good though... Anywho... Megasquirt can do on-the-fly wideband a/f tuning. That's a big reason to go that route...

Best of luck!
