Default CAMS

So this weekend im getting preformance cams, and the guy im getting them from told me how to pull my existing cams out and put the new in... i was wondering if its true.
1 valve cover.
2 get crap outa the way (battery, fuse box, ac hoses, ect.)
3 remove timing belt and cam gear
4 pasenger side motor mount taken out
5 drop pasenger side of the motor a tid bit (for better clearance for removal)
6 get the rockers back and such
7 cam sensor
8 puller out
9 put new cam in
10 puter back together.

anything else anything that i should know, and what kind of gains will i see for my auto 95 highline.

it sound about right.but you dont have to move the battery and the fuse box might just need to be pulled out of the way
1. support motor on jack
2. remove alt. and power stering belts
3. remove crank pulley
4. remove passenger motor mount(must be done in order to get the timing cover off)...lower motor to get the mount off
5. remove timing cover
6. remove timing belt tensioner, then pull off belt
7. remove cam gears
8. remove valve cover
9. remove cam sensor
10. remove the bolts that hold down the cam, then rockers, then cam should pull out
just remember when you start putting it back to gether that you will need to torque the bolts that hold down the cam good but not to much because the aluminum head is easy to strip out...ive done it...and in order to put the timing belt tensioner on you will need a large vise to compress the tension pin...then need to stick a small allen wrench in the whole in the tensioner to hold it there, then bolt it in and remove the allen wrench....and when you re-allign the timing, alling all the timing marks then move the cam gear back about one tooth, that way when you put in the tensioner the cam will move to where it needs to be...i think that is all, i dont know if i missed anything, but if i did then others will correct me...im not sure how much you will gain either

May as well go with the underdrive pully while your at it and wait on taking it down tell you get the cam sproket, and or underdrive pully. You'll see why after you tear her down.
You'll pick up alot of low end toque from the underdrive I run one, 30%under well worth the bucks.
Have fun!
