My Fuel pump was out on my neon so i decided i would try and rebuild it. Well It turns on and everything for a sec or two when you turn the key on but, there is little fuel pressure at the valve. So im not sure what i did wrong. It will shoot out alittle bit at the valve but nothing drastic at all. i dont have a fuel pressure guage handy so i cant tell you what the exact pressure is. I took of the filter/regulator and blew through it. (not sure if thats a good way to test it though lol) it blew through fine. What could be the problem here? Did i not rebuild it properly or is there another problem here? HELPPPPPPP

 

Well personaly i would have just put a new pump in it why try to rebuild something that could blow me up if i do it wrong, i aint no bomb builder lol.
sorry tohear its not working correctly, get a new pump man.

can anyone tell me where the fuel pump is? I have no idea...

 

Should be located on the passenger side of the fuel tank.

 

Just an update the fuel pressure was wrong because i didnt have the car in time properly. Oops on me
