r/t neons and 1/4 mile times
i might be goin out to look at the car this weekend and if i can, i will get some pics and post them on here....just so that you can see what a mid 7 second neon looks like...but remember its not street legal, but at least its a 1995 neon
Stock times for a '98 Neon R/T are 0-60 MPH in 7.5 and the 1/4 mile in 15.9 seconds and I have the pages from the magazine (Motor Trend or Car & Driver, I forget exactly which it was) in which they reviewed and tested one. My '99 R/T, which had none of the heavy power options, had most of the Mopar Performance bolt ons and it was good for 14.8 in the 1/4 mile.
The only way you could run a full second and a half quicker than an experienced pro is if your spraying or running something less than a 1/4 mile, like 1,000 ft. or 1/8 mile. The only other possible way is if you gutted the car down to a 1 seater bare shell.

not startin ****, just expressing my opinion like the guy with the camaro..but you dont make a comment about that because he didnt say anything about beating your car.....
The R/T springs were not stiffer. The '95 Sports all had rear discs, same as the R/T's. The sales code for the suspension on the '95 Sport Coupe is identical to the one on the '98/'99 R/T.
[quote]Why are you trying to start sh*t again by making inflamatory remarks about cars you know absolutely nothing about? If you have factual information based on this threads subject matter then feel free to give it, but keep your off topic oriented stuff to yourself.
i agree, so kids you beter start behaving or i will take you computer privalages away from you and take your camaro and neon away from you for a week!!!!!!

If you had read before replying you would know that I have questioned his other claim, which is the only one that has any relevance to this thread, by posting the factual tested stock times for an R/T.
I know how well you like to talk BS, flame and cause problems in general just as you were by making the previous statement which has absolutely nothing to do with this threads topic. You did this as a deliberate act to start problems again and this is the last time I will ask you to stop doing such things.
