Default Its all making sence

This is all starting to make sence now, when i run my car for a long period or run it hard, it seems to lack fuel to the motor (or what i thought would be water in the gas) i turn the car off for a few, turn it back on and im on my way again. i told a friend the problem and he said fuel pump, filter, or even injectors.

Anyone think otherwise? Any sugjestions?

I had the same problem and wasted 400 bucks fixing it before i figured it out. I had gotten a hole in my fuel filler neck, and the back tire was kicking crap into my gas tank. IT was the fuel pump filter, I had found three hand fulls of crap in the tank. drop the tank, and check you could get luck and get away with just filtering the gas

im like 95% sure its the pump or the filter, it only starts to run like crap when it gets down below 3/4 full of gas

check the filler neck, and if not that trry the fuel pump. for like 30 buck you can get a fuel pressure check tool and check that way... also when it die take a wrag and screw driver and depress the schroeder(sp) valve on the center of the fuel rail. and the see if it starts up then. hope this helps, like I said $400 and then I figured it out.

my filler neck went bad a couple months ago and we fixed that, for the longest time when we had the fuel pressure gauge hooked up the gauge would flip out between a certain point, (when the car was running fine) and after we replaced the pump and filter the gauge stayed right at like 45 or something like that. i havent had a problem since then!!! *knocks on wood*
