Default Side ways hood?

I need a little something extra for my car to stand out at shows,so I want to put in a side ways opening hood to were the hinges are on the passenger side. Ive seen it done but dont know how and what parts I need. can anyone help me out.thanks

check on ebay I haven't saw that exactly but i've saw corvette style flip hood hing kits for neons for cheap i'm sure you can find what you need but be careful not to get something too universial so that you end up spending a month fabrcating it

ok what about a flip hood? Do you know where on the net even I can find the conversion for that?

If you really want to stand out do a split hood that opens to either side from the center. Really all you need to do it is some good hinges.

ya that would be sick! but I dont want to jump ino something I have no idea about. What would stop it from leaking? How would you slit it? how would you latch the 2 together? and were would the hinges go? do you know how to put a side ways hinge in? let me know.

^^^Be creative and go to a local hardware store and look at the hinges and stuff.
