Default head gasket problem!

i read many documents and i heared that all neons untill 98(November! after that it replaced with steel plate) has gasket problem! and i wonder that how long it holds on in a good engine run conditions?-(i dont mean overheating and so on..) owners must be know it mileage..

Anywhere from 30 to 60 thousand miles before it goes.

100,000 miles on the MLS gasket, so I'd change it with the timing belt, water pump and tensioner pulley.

The MLS gasket holds up really well. I've know plenty to go over 100k. I'm at 240k, MLS since 65k...

True...afterall if it blows and you catch it quick enough, it's not like the timing belt going on you.
