I was wondering, i'm looking to replace my radio in my 95' cause its blown but yet i dont want to put in an after market radio. so i was wondering if anyone knows if a second generation radio would fit into my first generation?

 

i have a radio from a 2001 neon in my 98....but i needed to cut all the mounting and edges off from around the new radio...so it sits in there but it wont bolt down....i just thought that i would try it, but it isnt worth it

 

It fits, but doesn't bolt down as spudsterier said. Just look for another first gen radio. They are on eBay from time to time.
