Default clutch question

i just put a newer clutch in one of my cars and when you drive it normally it works great, but when you start to get on it a little, and get it revving high, then change gears it slips....it does it as soon as you let out the pedal, but like i said if you drive it normally or shift at 5000rpms or lower its perfectly fine....any ideas to what would cause this???

Default RE: clutch question

Could possibly be oil leaking from main seal at high rpms. Maybe the clutch itself is a partial lemon and doesnt like the high pressure and torque. my2c

when we just got our clutch replaced about 3,000 miles ago it would slip when i would push it around 3k. was thinking that is was about to go but now it seems to be slipping less and less. but when i first start out its hard to get it into first and second but other than that its like it was before.

i checked and i dont see any oil leaking or oil on anything....the clutch worked perfect when it was on the car about 2 years ago....but now it doesnt work right.....pisses me off...i dont feel like ripping the car apart again because i just got it together after 2 years....but i might just change it anyways
