Default replace dashboard speakers 1996

Hiya,

I have a 1996 Neon that the dashboard speakers are toast on. Anyone have any idea where to find these speakers?? are they tweeters? Anyone know anything about them? I cannot find a hint about them.

The seem to be 2-1/2 2 3/4 inch speakers.

Marc

The speakers are some stupid size I just made the holes bigger with a die grinder and put in 3.5 just take your time and you can use the bottom hole and factory screw to hold them in but only the bottom the top one needs to be rounded out to fit also if you buy a good set of speakers remember to remove the cap from the wire factory wire and wire you new speakers to the old harness it just makes things easier.

because of the position of the dash speakers an aimable tweeters on good 3.5's it actually does make a pretty big difference I just have them and 6x9's in the back for voice I removed the door speakers because I don't wanna screw up the ohm load and ruin my deck I also and 2 800 watt jl 10's it sounds amazing
