I replaced my front bumper with a bumper that has fog lights. I hooked up the factory wiring harnesses( down below front of radiator), replaced bulbs and added the 10a fuse. I can't seem to get the fog lights to work. its on a 96 dodge neon highliner 4d sedan. the fog light wiring hook up was never used.

 

Did you hook up the fog light switch also?

 

where is the fog light switch. my car doesn't have fog light switch. pre wired factory wiring

 

there is no pre-wire on the inside of the car unless it had it from the factory... pop off the cover where the rear-window defroster is/would be and you'll find the plug for it attached to the backside but no wire for the fog lights. Best to just wire them in seperately anyway and install your own switch unless you want to either find a defrost/fog switch and cover on ebay or in a junk yard.

No. If you have a rear defrost, pop off the small panel that the switch is on.

 

there nothing behind the rear defrost panel. no extra plug ins. nothing at all

 

You need a Factory Fog/Defrost switch with a pigtail of wiring harness on the Fog plug.

 

I just have a factory defrost switch. Can get the factory fog/defrost switch from a place like autozone, advanced auto parts or is it a dealer part?

 

It's either a dealer or junkyard part. I'd go hunting in a junkyard first.
