Default torque converter clutch solenoid

Can this part be replaced without pulling the transmisison?

The manual shows that it is mounted on the valve body. Can the valve body assembly be pulled out while the transmission is still mounted in the car?

1997 dodge neon 3 sp automatic.

if its on the valve body then it could...just take off the trans pan, then you get to the valve body

Thanks.

It looks like the valve body will pop out no problem.

Will I need to do any special servicing after pulling the valve body out other than refilling the transmission with transmission fluid?

No, just add the Mopar ATF+4 fluid in there along with a new gasket and filter and you should be good to go.
