Default drivetrain problem

theres a slight problem with my drivetrain..or maybe worse. brand new stage 1 clutch and flywheel installed about a month ago and still having some problems. when i am driving on the highway, and im in fifth gear..i start to smell my clutch a little. when i go up hills on the highway doing about 65-70, my car bogs down. i can have the gas pedal to the floor and still losing speed. Also my brakes get really tight on me when this occurs, and my car starts to shake like crazy. now when im in 4th gear, i can hear a slight winding sound coming from the engine/trans. at first my shift linkage cables were loose..nothing holding them down..so i thought that was the problem and i went ahead and fixed that with a couple of push nuts. but it was still acting the same afterwards. a transmission shop told me i may have bad shift cables, but they may be wrong....i dont know(?). then a friend of mine said bleeding the slave cylinder may fix the problem...i dont know if that will work either. Also, after im done driving, i can feel ALOT of heat coming from behind the driver side wheel. Im not much of an engine or transmission guy, but im sure there are a few out there that may know what my problem is. i dont want to keep driving it like this cause it may make the problem worse. if anyone has an idea of what the problem can be..please let me know. thanks

you might even have a bad caliper and it could be binding up....could even be your brakes heating up that you smell???(i know the clutch has a unique smell though) might be why you are loosing speed up hill....andhense the heat..you sure your friend didnt say the master cylinder???...could possibly be why you smell the clutch too, if your caliper is binding, then you are putting alot of strain on the motor and trans to keep it goin the same speed...its all just what i was thinking..

Pull the wheel and check the brake rotor for discoloration. Blueing means you go a stuck caliper. The excessive heat might have degraded the wheel bearing grease causing the whining sound. If the clutch was slipping on hills the engine speed would go up.
