95 dohc . going to put on obx adj cam gears. head was shaved .oo5. and suggestions as to recommended settings? if anyone with experience in doing this without dyno tuneing can help with detailed advice.......im all ears!

 

if you can't swing the dyno try one of the dash mounted G-meters that can do 0-60, 1/4mile, and so on. this will tell you what's what with each adj. i'd start at 0 deg and play around, i know the neon eng family is pretty sensitve to cam adjustments (they run like crap if the timming belt is 1 tooth off) and the valves will hit the pistons if the belt breaks.

sounds like a good time to change the water pump, timming belt, and tensioner pully. your going to have the motor pretty much torn down to change the gears, no big deal to do the rest. good luck.
