I was just wondering the jist, of how much different the dohc engine is compared to the sohc.. what all would I have to change internally to bolt up a dohc?

 

Are you wanting to convert a SOHC to a DOHC or pull the SOHC out and put in a DOHC?

Pull a SOHC completely out and put a DOHC in is a direct bolt in - probably should change your PCM

If you are converting your SOHC to a DOHC - you will have to change out your pistons - after that it is a direct bolt on to the block with a DOHC head.

Overal - better performance in my opinion with a DOHC, but better Gas efficiency with a SOHC.
