Default tips on engine reinstall

ok im lost i was just going to do the head gasket on my 95 neon atx and i decided to get the head redone, which means i need to do the ringsthe chiltons manual i used as a guide had me pulling everything out the wheel well........that was a pain int the a$$... i pulled the engine, and i was wondering if the easiest way to do things was to just drop the whole engine/trans subframe(the trans is still in the car) and put it all back together then lower the body back down on it unless anyone else knows any tricks/tips that would help... ANYTHING would be helpful at this point because i need it back together by next weekend, thanks, constant

one of the easiest ways to do it is to take the trans out of the car....bolt it back up to the motor and the drop it in from the top....just pull out the driveshaft so you dont brake them(if you want, you can work around them)

Putting the motor back in with the Transmission still in the car is not too Hard - especially if you leave the Front Pulley off the engine - mine glides right in!

I do usually have to jack the transmission up a little bit! - But it does work!
