Ok, I have a 97 Dodge Neon DOHC. I have done some slight modifications to it.

My problem is that my aftermarket cd player will be playing and then the sound just cuts off completely and doesn't return until I usually turn the cd player off and then back on. I know it is not the cd player because I just bought another one and it does the exact same thing.

Somebody please tell me something.

 

does anything else go as well besides the cd player? interior lights dash lights stuff like that? it sounds like you have a short or a bad ground, next time it goes out try to remember what was going on at the time, I found mine when I would go over rail road tracks, one of my wires was full twisted causing it to go loose. I even kept blowing fuses
