well then to you i appologize....didnt know you had an srt
MOST srt owners are cocky then....
maybe it would be envy...but i would still rather take the 20,000 bucks that they would spend on an srt 4 and put that into a regular 1st gen neon.....then i could be cocky too...the first gens just seem more nimble.....they have that neat little happy look to them.....better sleeper car then a srt would be....no one exspects anything out of a neon

best line to hear sumone say
ha i could beat that....its just a neon

The SRT-4 doesn't have its own Factory Service Manual, it's included in the Neon manual. So I think that makes it a Neon.

I catch more crap from SRT-4 owners than Mustang an Corvette owners combined. The few nice guys usually own or used to own a Neon (typically 1st gens). Dunno, I don't let it get to me, it's just a car.

the stock SRT-4 wheels are 17x6". Most tire manufacturers have a "design" width, and a 205 width is typically designed to fit properly on a 7" wide rim. They also have a width range, which is what they consider "acceptable" for that particular tire. 6" is cutting it pretty close, and some tires (lower profile and/or stiffer sidewall) would only go as low as 6.5" wide for a 205 width tire. Below that, you risk unseating the tire in hard cornering, which is definitely not safe.

Your stock tire diameter should be around 22.7". Doesn't matter what size rim you are using. So if you must go with a 205 width, even a 205/45/17 is going to be a tight fit (~23.5" tall tire), and the wheel may rub in the rear on the trailing arm, depending on the brand of tire (tire section width is not the same for all 205 width tires...).

Best of luck!

Thats when you take a BFH to it or get Vitor's Offset Rear Suspension Tension Rods.

My car looks at me and says "HI" everytime I come in the driveway.
Then i cross my arms and give it "The look" [>:](which you remember getting as a child.. OR giving if you have a child).
And it looks away in shame, down at the driveway[&o]. Knowing that it has disappointed me by letting all these things go on.
(Even though I take good care of it.) Such as:

Water IN the car.
Reverse lights not working.
strange idle.
trunk light doesnt work.
That door ajar issue.
ect...

then... i look at it agian, this time with a smirk. [sm=smiley9.gif]
Thinking to myself "Is't it so Adorable?!"[sm=Awwww.gif]

and it slowly looks back up at me with the smirk on my face and Love in my eyes[sm=loveeyes.gif] ,

Smiles back at me, shakes it's immaginary tail

And Off we Go!![sm=gears.gif]

I Love you, Neon![sm=drlove.gif]
