new neon, pulled codes, help?
so i bought a 97 sohc about a week ago for $100, couldnt pass it up because of gas prices. my turbo supra isnt cutting it and neither is my 89 k1500. but it turns out that im only getting about 20 mpg, so i decided to pull the codes and i got 12, 35, 21, 32, and the end code 55. i recently went to auto zone and scanned the obdII and it said o2 sensor and egr circut. i checked all of the vacuum lines and one was clogged up, so i unclogged it and my gas milage went from 17 to 20ish. i was just wondering what else i should do to get better milage. TIA

But the code 21 is your O2 sensor, probably the upstream one, check the connections and make sure it is good and there isn't any bare wire.
The code 32 is your EGR valve and/or solenoid goin bad. You can try pulling the EGR valve and cleaning it and reinstalling and see if it comes back (didn't work for me, so I got a new one). It could be the solenoid needs to be replaced which comes with a new EGR valve from the dealer.
The code 35 is your fan relay....are your fans kicking on when they are supposed to?
Don't worry about the 12 which is battery has been disconnected within the last 50 key on cycles or 55 which is end of codes.
