Default shift ****

does anyone know how to get the SRT-4 shift **** to fit onto the 1st gen shift rod?

the srt-4 i believe is a twist on

and the 1st gen is a pop on

so i was just wondering if anyone knew how to do it!

i suppose you could go that way if you wanna try and screw the **** on there....
the srt **** is a push on....there is a little clip in the top of the ****....

in order to make it work you need to grind the front of the shifter handle down so that it has a flat edge, then cut a little notch into the upper portion of the handle....you would have to look at the inside of the shifter ball to see how and how much needs to be ground down and where the notch goes.....

i have one sitting here on my desk that i have been waiting to put on my car.......when i wanna do the work
