Default PCMs: SOHC to DOHC? Worth it?

Ok, so when Sport Compact Car was building their first gen Project Neon, they swapped a DOHC PCM into their SOHC Neon and the dyno tests showed that it moved the power curve more towards the lower RPM range but didn't improve HP. My question: I can get a '97 DOHC Auto PCM for 50 bucks, junkyard. Is it worth it? I have intake and exhaust done so far.

You'll get a higher rev limiter and run a little rich, but thats about it. You will also need use 93 octane to see any "decent" benefits, if any, from the DOHC PCM.

So honestly, I don't think it's worth it.
