Default Passenger Window Replacement

Hello everyone,

Could explain to me how to remove the hand crank from the passenger side door? I am attempting top replace a broken passenger side window and I need access but I cannot finish removing the panel without removing the crank.

Thanks,

use a wrag and wrap it behind the handle.....then just pull the rag side to side to release the clip

you can always try to pry it off wit 2 flat head screw drivers. But I think they sell a special tool to get those clips off. the rag thing is a lil tricky to get.

ok try again....
if you push in the door panel a little around the handle, you should be able to see the clip.....its kinda shaped like a horseshoe....when slide the rag between the handle, and the big plastic washer....grab hold of the ends of the rag and wrap it around until your hands touch each other......then pull the rag towards you and move it back and forth (like your milking a cow).....you will have to re arrange the rag a few times until you get hold of the clip......if you get it then becareful, that clip will go shooting out.....

they do sell a trim removal tool for a few bucks....it makes the job easier but if you cant get one, then the rag works the best....
just be sure to use like a wash cloth or a shirt....not a shop towel or equivelent
